Grevy's zebra
Kenya, 2019
The Grevy’s zebra is the rarest and most endangered species of zebra, found mainly in certain regions of Kenya and Ethiopia. It can be distinguished from other zebra species by its narrow, closely spaced black stripes on a white background, large head, long round ears (rather like Mickey Mouse ears), dewlap (folds of skin) under the chin, and stripes running down to the hooves.
