I was lucky enough to take this photo of Bob Jr, an iconic male lion of the Serengeti, who was truly incredible! Known for his majestic appearance and impressive mane, he embodied the image of a powerful and dominant lion, something that is increasingly rare.Sadly, Bob Jr’s story took a tragic turn when he and his brother fell victim to a clash with three young nomadic lions seeking to take over his territory. Such territorial battles between lions are not uncommon.
